Assembly Mechanic

In this technical role, you are responsible for producing and assembling machine components with a strong focus on precision, quality, and on-time delivery. You will work on parts that require a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

Work Preparation & Organization

• Ensure components are ready on time, within agreed deadlines and production standards.

• Verify that all necessary materials and documentation are available, and report any discrepancies to the planning team.

• Support colleagues or temporary workers when needed.

• Monitor quality by checking whether process control meets the required standards and inspect your own work.

• Resolve uncertainties and ensure any missing elements in the process are addressed.

Assembly & Production

• Prepare components by tasks such as welding, straightening, grinding, and polishing.

• Assemble various types of parts based on customer specifications.

• Fine-tune, inspect, and functionally test the completed assemblies.

• Follow safety, quality, environmental, and occupational health guidelines with care.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute ideas regarding the manufacturability and practical execution of technical solutions.

• Provide feedback on challenges encountered and suggest improvements.

• Take initiative in enhancing processes within your area of responsibility

• Completed vocational education (MBO level 2) or willingness to follow training.

• Preferably (or willing to learn):

  • Experience with stainless steel (RVS) components;

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;

  • TIG welding skills at level 2;

  • VCA (basic safety certification) or willingness to obtain it;

  • Basic computer literacy.

• Good command of Dutch or English (spoken and written).

• Willingness to work in a day shift schedule.

• Direct contract with the employer.

• Gross monthly salary up to €3,800.

• Travel allowance.

• Day shift.

• 25 vacation days and 13 additional (ADV) days.
